Biography:

Graduated from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1985. 

Received an M.S. in Engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1987.

Became Assistant Professor at Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1988. 

Received a Ph.D. in Engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1992. 

Promoted to Associate Professor at Toyama University in 1994

Associate Professor at Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2000.

Promoted to Professor at University of Tsukuba in 2007
